The big list is out, the much-anticipated Nominees List of the prestigious GLOBAL IGBO ENTREPRENEURS AWARD(GIEA) 2022 has been released by Ikeanumba Africa Magazine.
The nominee’s list was put together by the GIEA Technical Team after painstaking research and due diligence.
This year Ikeanumba (GIEA) awards is focused on celebrating creative expressive Igbo entrepreneurs all over the world who are not only succeeding but have succeeded in their various vocations of business, which include Environmental Services, Information and Communication Technology, Insurance, Banking, Media, Real Estate, Education, Transportation, Construction, Manufacturing, Trade and Commerce etc.
Airing live on Sunday, Sunday, 27th November, 2022, the event will be hosted live by the award-winning magazine and the Author, Entrepreneur, and Philanthropist Ayobanna Ikeanumba, the Publisher of Ikeanumba Magazine from the Iconic Muson Centre, Shell Hall, Onikan Lagos Nigeria.
Nigerian revered Igbo business men and women like Stella Okoli, Tony Elumelu, Frank Nneji, Eric Umeofia, Emma Bishop Okonkwo, Pascal Dozier, Obinna Iyiegbu, Linda Ikeji and many more are also nominated. Tony Elumelu “Heirs Holding” receiving nomination in Insurance category, also received nominations in Banking category, while Frank Nneji received nominations in Transportation category.
Other transport nominees at this year’s GIEA awards include: Allen Ifechukwu Onyema of Peace Air, Chief Samuel Maduka Onyishi of Peace Mass Transit. Obinna Iyiegbu of Cubana Group and Dr Ifeanyi Ubah are nominated in Entertainment and Oil/Gas respectively. Leo Stan Ekeh and Nnamdi Ezeigbo are nominated in the Technology and Commerce categories respectively. Dr Nwachukwu Anakwenze, Onowu Abagana and His Excellency Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife Okwadike IgboUkwu are nominated as Foremost Igbo Entrepreneurs while Dr Stella Okoli of Emzor Pharmaceuticals and Chief Eric Umeofia of Erisco Group top the Manufacturing category.
