Daniel was born and raised in Nigeria, and as a child, he had an unquenchable thirst for technology. While other children were fascinated by the functionality of gadgets, Daniel was fascinated by what made them work. This curiosity led him to disassemble home appliances, which his parents detested. But rather than reprimanding him, his father recognized his curiosity and taught him how to code when he was ten years old. What began as a simple introduction to the basics of coding soon blossomed into a full-blown passion.

Daniel read every available book and online tutorial, studying programming languages and software programming. By the time he was 12 years old, he had created his first smartphone application, a basic game that, although not highly advanced, marked the beginning of a prodigious career in computer programming.
Over the years, Daniel’s skills increased. He mastered full-stack Web2 and Web3 coding, app and game development, UI/UX design, 2D and 3D animation, and drone piloting. His ability to learn and share different tech skills made him stand out among his Daniel’s commitment to using technology for social benefit is evident through his remarkable projects.
One of his notable works is Navigate X, a virtual mouse for individuals with disabilities. This innovative tool allows users to navigate digital devices using only their eye and head movements, breaking down barriers to digital inclusion. This innovation speaks volumes about Daniel’s belief that technology must be accessible to all. Daniel also developed EcoCycle, a blockchain-powered waste management system, to combat environmental degradation and make recycling more efficient.
Capitalizing on the transparency and effectiveness of blockchain, EcoCycle enables public participation in waste management, fosters a culture of sustainability, and helps enterprises and individuals monitor and control their environmental footprint, making sustainable lifestyles more attainable.
Aside from RISE, Daniel was selected for the Nontrivial fellowship, arguably one of the most competitive research fellowships in the world, with over 35,000 applicants. He also participated in the Take Action Lab Fellowship (Tilting Futures), a three-month, fully funded leadership fellowship in South Africa, where he developed social impact projects and expanded his global knowledge. Notably, Daniel became the first Nigerian to be chosen for the Seguinland Institute Fellowship, a highly competitive, fully funded immersive learning experience in the USA. This opportunity broadened his perspectives and connected him with top professionals, further solidifying his position as a world tech leader.
Daniel’s work with the Global Citizens Circle Fellowship positions him among the ranks of social impact and leadership, engaging in top-level discussions where he can influence policies and global strategies for technological advancement. Despite his interest in social impact, Daniel recognizes the role of entrepreneurship in scaling solutions. This led him to co-found Eraiiz, a firm that integrates business with sustainability. By utilizing blockchain, AI, and Web3 technology, Eraiiz creates an open, trust-based market connecting buyers with sustainable products.
Daniel’s breakthrough in merging business sustainability with technology is a testament to how young entrepreneurs can drive economic growth while addressing global challenges. His efforts demonstrate that business success and social benefit are not mutually exclusive but rather complementary objectives that can and should be achieved in harmony.
